Christmas card 2011

Pig napkin: Printed on white cotton napkins, these were designed to accompany a celebration pig roast.

Ampersand/monogram card: Celebrating a wedding, the couple's initials are fused into a stylised "&". Wrapping paper produced to match.

Take it and Run takeitandrun.wordpress.com: I was invited by the author of Pen Paper Pause to join his project Take it and Run, which involved giving selected writings a new visual interpretation. The patchwork quilt corresponds poetically with the snapshot memento.

Personal card: With his signature in Arabic reproduced in gold ink, this card is a personal reference to the client's own interest in calligraphy. The decorative use of rhombic dots is a reference to a calligraphic system of measurements: here they are stamped in clear foil on Bitter Chocolate (350gsm) board.

Wedding invitation: Commissioned by a dairy farming couple, this is unconventional in concept and material. Based on their local farming rag and replicating the ‘lonely hearts’ column, the couple’s spoof ads are circled as a perfect match. The design is personalised with a landscape photo taken from the farm and printed on 300gsm board made from recycled rhino poo!
Bloody brilliant!

Address cards: Designed to make use of the off-cuts of the wedding invitation print job.
